"pp126 comes with an upholstered seat and back in leather or fabric. pp126 was designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1983. It is the predecessor of pp124 from 1984. Wegner created nine rocking chairs during his career. pp126 was number 8 in the line. The pp126 did not find it's way to the production line in 1983, because master of craftsmen and co-founder of PP Møbler, Ejnar Pedersen found it too prim - a comment that eventually became a standing joke from Wegner's side: 'Well, Ejnar. Do you think it's prim'. Outside normal working hours Wegner and some of the craftsmen at PP Møbler made a finished prototype though, and it proved it's value after 26 years in the home of Ejnar´s grandson and third generation of masters of craftsmen. Ejnar´s grandson always loved the chair for it's excellent comfort and humble approach, and therefore he decided to put it into production in 2010."
