5180/7 The tea spoon of Nuovo Milano series offers, in a smaller proportion, the same distinctive features of the table spoon: a rounded and pleasant to the touch handle which ends in a particularly rounded bowl. NUOVO MILANO The Nuovo Milano service was designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1987 by revisiting a traditional cutlery model in a contemporary fashion. The objects of this series are characterised by soft and rounded shapes which are extremely pleasing to the touch like those of a stone smoothened by the sea. Nuovo Milano is one of the most complete services in the Alessi catalog, offering a selection of 26 different types of cutleries. It is made of stainless steel and created from Sottsass's desire to design all the objects necessary for a ""Beautiful Table""; this collection of cutleries is a typical contemporary design, approved by XV Premio Compasso d'Oro.
