In Incipit, a single manufacturing deed results into a well-calibrated combination of optical, mechanical, and thermal principles - the mainstays of the broad literature on light. Its design is minimal and no-frills. The vertical spokes have a mechanical function and also play a crucial role in conduction of the heat generated by the lighting source. The aluminium-finished version, in both sizes, ensures compliance with the UGR factor

意大利

Artemide成立于1960年并且是全球家喻户晓的知名灯具品牌之一, 值得注意的还有Artemide所坚持的"人类之光The Human Light" 的哲学概念. 如今Artemide更是和设计, 革新以及意大利制造生产的名词画上等号.
同时藉由设计产品, Artemide也为国际设计的历史贡献很多, 例如Elisse（1967年,设计师维科 马吉斯德地Vico Magistretti）, 托勒密Tolomeo（1989年, 设计师米歇尔 德 鲁奇Michele De Lucchi和约翰 卡罗法西纳Giancarlo Fassina）和管道Pipe（2004年, 设计师赫梭Herzog和德 梅隆De Meuron）这些全部都有得到黄金指南针奖Compasso d'Oro.
