Gordon Guillaumier signs FAROE, a complex project that reinterprets the theme of containment, giving life to a collection of highly functional free-standing containers and chairs. Islands to personalise and arrange in different compositions that play on accents like padded elements, seats and arms. Available in leather or fabric in a variety of different heights and finishes, the designs make a perfect centre piece, be it a living room, a bedroom, a walk-in wardrobe or a dressing room. The concept of an island is also expressed in the name that is inspired by the fascinating namesake Danish archipelago. With its essential and balanced design, FAROE is characterised by the lightness of the suspended, lacquered metal frame that holds and supports the wooden elements in both the heat-treated oak and the upholstered ones. The frame comes in two finishes: vibrant, lacquered Mango and the more classic bronze painted metal version. The project has also been enriched by the tempered glass tops, specifically designed to create refined display cases with a contemporary attitude, perfect for showcasing more personal objects in the living room; watch collections, or jewellery and leather accessories in the islands placed in the walk-in closets.
