The ""Malaparte"" waste paper baskets are designed by Paris-based interior architect Stephane Parmentier for GioBagnara. His works are characterised by minimalistic, perfect lines and modern elegance. The ""Malaparte"" collection by GioBagnara combines patinated metal and suede. It plays with the contrasts of materials, textures and colours. The strictly structured geometry recalls the modernist spirit of Rietveld's furniture and the clean lines of Japanese aesthetic. ""Malaparte"" by GioBagnara is a tribute to the ""Malaparte"" linear villa, built in 1938 by the architect Alberto Libera on behalf of the writer Curzio Malaparte. The eccentric and unique building served as a backdrop for films of the 60s and inspired Stephane Parmentier.
