The EB 27 Sterling Silver Table lamp is designed by Eduard-Wilfrid Buquet and made by Tecnolumen. At 4.29 p.m. on February 9th, 1927, Eduard-Wilfried Buquet filed his patent for parts, particularly the flexible joints, of this lamp at the Ministère du Commerce et l'Industrie in Paris. Various versions were produced until the 1940s by Buquet himself. Tecnolumen now re-edited the classical desk lamp with some modifications due to technical reasons, like the interior of the flexible joints. Since the small reflector will only take a smallholder Tecnolumen uses as low voltage halogen lamp. Therefore the transformer is housed in the stand which is now made from metal rather than wood as it used to be. The table lamp EB27 is now available with various finishes. This EB27 Sterling Silver is definitely the most precious version, completely handmade from 925 Sterling silver. The series is limited to 50 pieces, all of them consecutively numbered and stamped at the base which was visually adapted to the standard design of the original model. All components carry the 925 hallmarks and the counterweight consists of a 925 silver coating into which a brass weight is inserted. Sterling silver, handmade the edition.
