The Hungarian Bauhaus designer Gyula Pap designed floor lamp Bauhaus BST 23 back in 1923, but it took many decades until Tecnolumen started to produce it in series - with accordance of the Berlin based Bauhaus archives. Its timeless, reduced design is typical for the Bauhaus style and perfectly suited for general lighting in modern interiors. The glass diffuser is connected by a nickel-plated tubular steel rod with the black lacquered iron base. Pap created this lamp specifically for this type of crown mirrored bulbs which had just been invented at that time. Each lamp is consecutively numbered and bears the Bauhaus and Tecnolumen logos.
