Deknudt is proud to debut their first collaboration with Karim Rashid, one of the most influential designers worldwide. He describes his work as a collaborative merging of minds, vision and ideology and works toward a marriage of his brand, vision and ideas with the company culture of the manufacturer. “Designing is not a one way traffic, it is an exchange, a fusion of ideas and visions. Everything stands or falls with a good relationship”. Hence his favorite expression “Globalove”. For the design of the Spline, Karim Rashid wanted to create a frame around the human body. He started from a full length mirror and added a lit silhouette, reminiscent of the shape of a feminine body. The white functional light and the multicolored atmospheric lighting make this a piece of art, and a piece of equipment at the same time, a real eye catcher in every sense of the word.
