Evoking the generous forms of the chemistry stills, this new collection designed by Sacha Walckhoff for Verreum is changing at will. Vases, carafe and tumbler, all parts of this set, each formed of two separable elements – in blown glass on one hand and metallic glass on the other- are both fun and functional. Sacha Walckhoff continues here his work on duality in design. As in alchemy, everything is constantly metamorphosing. What one sees is not necessarily what one believes and one can here interact with the object as elsewhere with matter, shapes and ideas.
